Lynnmoore was established in January 1994 by husband and wife, James & Valerie Moore, and was based in half a unit on Horsley Fields Industrial Estate. Today we are still in the same site, however we have grown and took over the additional space, allowing us to build machines of great sizes.
Lynnmoore grew its reputation for designing and manufacturing high quality equipment and providing great customer service. Jim’s, keen eye for detail meant that all equipment had to pass a strict quality control. Customers valued this ethos and knew Lynnmoore’s equipment was built to last.
Sadly, Jim passed in June 2020. He was well-known and respected within the Engineering community and will be greatly missed.
Today Lynnmoore is owned by brother and sister, Paul Moore and Joanne Anderson along with a new management team and is continuing to grow and invest in new technology to provide the best services and solutions that our customers can rely on.
Meet The Team
Paul joined the business in 2000 after serving in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (Army).
Paul started in the workshop developing his skills and understanding of the business before being promoted to Sales and learning his trade from Jim.
Paul succeeded Jim in becoming Managing Director in 2012, when Jim finally decided to retire.
Joanne joined the team in 2011 after 16 years in the Banking Industry.
Valerie trained Joanne in accounts and pay roll before she retired alongside Jim in 2012. Joanne takes an active part in all aspects of the business, from recruitment to Health and Safety and gaining the necessary accreditations allowing us to continue to be a successful business.
Nick joined the team in 2015 as an engineer. He quickly became promoted to sales to support Paul after seeing his dedication and passion to drive Lynnmoore forward. It was not long before another promotion of Director came along. Nick brings new methods of manufacturing and design whilst maintaining our high level of quality.
